Beading Connectors<br /><br />This article continues the series of how jewelry works. Prior to this article jewelry closures were discussed explaining the difference between six types of clasps used as closures for necklaces and bracelets.<br /><br />Those interested in beaded necklaces and bracelets probably have noticed that there are funny looking metal connectors sitting between the beads and the clasps. Two of the more commonly used connectors are crimp beads and fairly new on the market the ScrimpTM design. These two types of connectors are used only with beading wire however not with silk thread or other beading medium.<br /><br />If used properly both are very reliable ways for jewelry makers to attach beading wire to clasps. Scrimps are more heavy duty and are better connectors for necklaces or bracelets with heavy gemstone or metal beads. If you examine your own necklaces or bracelets you can identiy the crimp beads by the fact that they are flat tubes of metal with a crease running vertically across the tube. The metal tube was originally round. During the process of securing the wire in the tube it was flattened by the special tool used in this application crimp pliers.<br /><br />How to Use Crimp Pliers:<br /><br />Crimp pliers are funny looking pliers that have two stations in the jaw of the pliers. Reference the clasp assembly image shown below at the end of the bead strand a crimp bead is strung, followed by one end of the clasp. Then the beading wire is then reinserted into the crimp bead with the end of the beading wire sticking out the opposite end of the crimp bead. The crimp bead is placed in the station so that the open end is facing you. The beading wire should stick out on either end of the vertical bar of the cross in a straight line. Position the crimp bead directly over the hump in the station and firmly press. The crimp bead will sort of curl into a U shape. You should have a dip the middle of the crimp bead with one strand of the beading wire sticking out on either side of the dip. If your beading wires are both sticking out on the same side of the dip you must start over again. It should fold in on itself forming a tube. Scrimps have a barrel like appearance with a screw inside the barrel. The beading wire is inserted in the same manner as the crimp beads although with Scrimps it is no big deal if the wires cross. To secure the wire within the barrel a screwdriver is used to tighten the screw against the beading wire. This is a skill that takes a little practice however as the slot in the screw is quite tiny.

In the alternative, if your man has a desk related job where he wears suits everyday, attends church and formal functions on his days off, then perhaps a diamond ring would be perfectly suitable for him.<br /><br />The Mans Overall Perspective on Jewelry<br /><br />Lastly, you should consider the mans overall perspective on wearing jewelry in general and more specifically, diamond rings. Some men are completely against wearing jewelry and therefore buying diamond rings for this category of male would not be a good idea, as it would not see the use that it should. On the other hand, if your man or another male who you are buying the diamond ring for is completely open to the idea of diamond ring wearing then by all means go ahead and purchase this wonderful gift for him.

Adjustable Sari Ribbon and Dangle Bead Necklace<br /><br />Originally, this design really started out as a holiday themed jewelry piece because I planned to incorporate some dangle components from the Tis the Season Collection. These are made of glass beads and brass metal, and the beads are in greens and reds. So that means Christmas, right? Normally, it does, but once I started putting all the elements together, digging through my stash and finding other components that would look well with these dangles, I ended up putting together this necklace that can be worn all year long.<br /><br />The use of the sari ribbon attached to the center chain section allows you to adjust the length of the necklace, so you can wear it super long, or you can wear it closer up around your neck. While I started with three yards of sari ribbon for this piece, you may want to think about making your ribbon shorter or longer if adjusting the length is not something you want to do and you know the final length of the necklace you would prefer to have.

Doom battle scene at the beginning of Fellowship of the Ring, a DVD pause reveals at least half a dozen of the 50,000 Orc Warrior extras are wearing modern tennis shoes.<br /><br />Speaking of Orcs.<br /><br />The Orcs were obviously stolen from PC game maker Blizzard and its Warcraft series. Meanwhile the black skinned antagonists and their black crow spies and their black glass seeing ball inhabit their black towers and perform black magic. One would have to be blind to miss the symbolism.<br /><br />Gold: The Stretchy Element.<br /><br />The ring, which is seen to be at least two inches in diameter at the beginning to fit the polish sausage sized finger of Sauron, suddenly fits Frodos child sized finger later.<br /><br />Horse sense.<br /><br />Why didnt they take horses on their quest? Or even better, why didnt Gandalfs giant flying bird friend haul them into Mordor? Watch out, Frodo! All of your methods of transportation have been swallowed by the Dark Lord of the Plot Hole!See below.<br /><br />Return of the Living Dead.<br /><br />In FOTR, if you watch closely during the Inn scene, Frodo and his crew are shown getting stabbed by the Ring Wraiths. Then, five seconds later, they are fine again. Apparently they made the beasts by crossing Orcs, Goblins and the French.<br /><br />Sloppy CGI.<br /><br />Gandalfs smoke boat at Bilbos party is pretty impressive, but smoke cannot be made to travel horizontally, thus revealing it to be nothing but a cheap special effect.

One more task remained. In the aftermath of a 34 31 loss, Gus Malzahn had gathered the Auburn Tigers, delivered a final message, then prayed with them. Now, a few moments later, it was time for postgame interviews, which meant a trip to the other side of the stadium.<br /><br />Tre? Dee? Yall ready? Malzahn said. Lets go.<br /><br />Tre Mason was not ready. The junior running back had been sitting in his locker, his face buried in a towel, almost inconsolable, although several teammates and coaches and other staff members had tried. But red eyed, he followed Malzahn from the locker room. Just outside, Malzahn was intercepted by an ESPN reporter for a live TV interview. As they waited, senior defensive end Dee Ford pulled Mason back inside, away from the bright lights, and embraced him.<br /><br />No one is upset with you, Ford said he told him. But Im gonna tell you, when everybody looks back on this team? Theyre gonna remember that its the biggest turnaround in college football history.<br /><br />Im just gonna say this to you seniors. I know I talked to yall last night. We love every one of you. Youre the ones that got us here. Well never forget the senior class. I just wanted to say that. What you guys did? Those things happened, Malzahn told them, because you earned it, morphing from a 3 9 team in 2012 that did not win a conference game into 12 1, SEC champion, and they were certain headed for even more.<br /><br />BCS: 12 decisive moments<br /><br />Cam Newton might have best illustrated the mindset on Sunday evening. The catalyst for Auburns 2010 national championship team, Newton was asked by Malzahn to be an honorary coach, and to speak to the team before the Tigers took the field Monday.
